EASY CANVAS PRINTS: THE BEST PLACE FOR UNIQUE CANVAS PRINTS!

photo EasyCanvasprintslogo_zps93d42178.jpgI love this company!  A few months ago I was looking for an unique gift to give someone who had just accomplished a lifetime dream of having a book published.  I looked at every personalized gift on the Internet and all I found was the same old overpriced junk.  Finally by chance there was an ad on the AOL page for "Easy Canvas Prints" and I thought it might be unique to make the cover of her book into a canvas print.

Ding, Ding, Ding, this girl took first prize in gift giving!!  She loved it and it will be something that she will cherish forever, and it was so easy for me to order it.  She had sent me an electronic picture of her book cover and I uploaded it to easycanvasprints.com, chose the size, pre-approved the canvas and had it shipped to her.  I had coupon to save 50% and received free shipping.  For $30 I gave her a beautiful gift that I know will last a lifetime.  Yay me!!  And thank you Easy Canvas Prints!

Since then I have ordered four more canvases, one as a birthday gift and three unique pictures of Scotland for myself.  Every once in awhile I have searched the Internet looking for art pictures of Scotland for my home.  If by some chance I found one I really liked, it was so expensive that it would have made more financial sense for me just to return to Scotland then to buy the picture.  Enter my new favorite website!  My pictures are so nice that I decided I would do a step by step review of my experience with Easy Canvas Prints.

I want to start out by saying that a company that has a website that is easy to use, will be successful.  You'd be hard pressed to find one that is as user friendly as easycanvasprints.com

41"x31"x3"
1) First I chose a picture size, which can be any size that you want, mine was 33"x13".  Then I chose the canvas thickness which can be .75" to 1.5".  I chose .75" which is the standard size.  You can choose a frame at this step as well but I prefer unframed canvas.

2) Next I uploaded my copyright and royalty free picture from my computer to their website.  You can also upload your photos from facebook or instagram.  Next you are informed if your image quality is poor, fair, or good based on the size of your image.  If its not good then you should make your picture smaller or find a larger image size.  After that you can move the image so that it is positioned exactly the way you want it to appear.

3) The final step is choosing how you want it wrapped, you have three choices, "Mirror Image" your image mirrors around the edge of your canvas print.  "Image Wrap" your image wraps around the edge of your canvas print.  Or "Border Color" you select a color for your border.  You can see how each border will look on your canvas beforehand making your choice easy and fast.  I chose the mirror image wrap.

And there you have it!  Three easy steps and 10-14 days later a canvas picture arrives at your house shipped free via UPS.   They are well packaged in a high quality single layer corrugated cardboard box.  Inside the box the canvas is wrapped in a plastic shipping bag and attached to another piece of cardboard giving it the protection of being double boxed, without the hassle of unpacking and disposing of an item that has been double boxed.  Shipping paper at the top and the bottom of the box cushions it even further.

If you pay the extra .99 cents you can have the picture hangers attached so that your picture is ready to hang when it arrives.  My canvas had two on the back since it was so long and they weren't attached at the same level which made it harder for my husband to hang the picture straight, the only problem I've had so far with the pictures I've ordered from them.

If you have questions before or after your purchase they respond quickly to emails, or you can post questions or concerns on their facebook wall.  I contacted them once and they answered my question in great detail making me feel like a valued customer.  You can often find coupons for 50% off, and my last order was for 65% off!  They post their coupon codes on their facebook page as well, so save time and look there first.

In these days of impersonal online shopping, or even worse impersonal online shopping combined with identity theft like the fine folks at Walmart.com offer up on an hourly basis, Easy Canvas Prints is a breath of fresh air.

IGNORE MILITANT ATHEISTS AND THEIR HATEFUL RHETORIC

photo IbelieveinGodresize_zps77da9e9e.jpgRecently a friend and I were discussing religion and atheists when she asked a good question, "Why do atheists spend so much time and energy fighting against something they don't believe exists?"  Good question my friend, good question.

I had a chance to ask an atheist that question a few days ago after reading about the latest vile antics of the Westboro Baptist Church on Huffington Post.

Cyanmanta: "The WBC are the greatest recruiting tool atheism has ever had. It's actually kind of disheartening; I want people to stop believing in gods because there's no compelling reason to do so, not because they want to avoid association with Fred Phelps".

Tsarina1: "I am curious and do not mean to start an argument, but why do you care if I love and believe in God?"

Cyanmanta: "Would you ask the same question to one who loves and believes in another god. Or a leprechaun? There are no gods. If you claim to love and believe in something that does not exist it causes alarm"

Tsarina1: "Then be alarmed"

Notice how he doesn't answer my question?  Instead he tells me that there is no "god" and I'm suppose to just believe his statement. Then he turns the question around on me and questions my sanity by stating my belief in God is cause for alarm.

But what do Atheists believe? Why do they seek to remove all religious acts and symbols on public property if those symbols are meaningless to them?  Just what do these folks want?  I went to the America Atheists Organization website to discover what they their basic beliefs are. Their belief statement is a thinly disguised attack against people of faith:

An atheist loves his fellow man instead of god. An atheist believes that heaven is something for which we should work for now – here on earth for all men together to enjoy.

Christians believe they should love their fellow man, and in fact they are commanded by God to do so and do it "here on earth".

An atheist believes that he can get no help through prayer but that he must find in himself the inner conviction and strength to meet life, to grapple with it, to subdue it, and enjoy it.

photo MilitantAtheists_zps49417bfa.jpgAh...this is their belief that people use religion as a crutch to cope emotionally with life's problems.  They claim to rely on their own internal "reason" to cope with emotional issues therefore they don't need to seek guidance or solace from God. Besides science has fixed that whole emotional issues thingy by inventing antidepressant medications.

An atheist believes that a hospital should be built instead of a church.

How many hospitals have been built by atheist groups?  None.  However, some of the worlds top hospitals were founded by religious organizations who do not force people to convert to a belief in God before they are treated.  Churches do spend money helping the poor, the sick, and the hungry.  And Atheists??  They spend their money on petty legal fights that they often lose in the long run.

An atheist believes that a deed must be done instead of a prayer said. An atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanquished, war eliminated. He wants man to understand and love man.

I think I'll quote C.S. Lewis to respond to this particular belief:

“And out of that hopeless attempt has come nearly all that we call human history—money, poverty, ambition, war, prostitution, classes, empires, slavery—the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy.” C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

Militant Atheists are every bit as vile as the Westboro Baptist Church, the only difference is that they have more money which allows them to be even more vocal in their childish temper tantrums when it comes to Faith and the public display of religious practices and symbols.

Around 900 people attended the American Atheist Organization annual convention held on March 28 - 31 in Austin, Texas this year.  About 80 people attended the opening night fund raising dinner to help raise money for the organization to initiate lawsuits and continue activism.  I can't help but wonder how many hospitals they could have built with the money they have raised to fund lawsuits and activism over the past 50 years.

The current president of the 50 year old organization, David Silverman made these comments to fire up the troops of hate:

“We are the bad guys, We are the grumpy atheists who say you can't use dead cops as a shield to put up a cross at Ground Zero and the fact that you are religious shouldn't get you out of paying taxes"

To understand the context of what Silverman is saying, you must understand that they take great pride in being defined as "the bad guys".  The tax exempt status of religious organizations really bothers these bitter hatemongers, which I can't understand because they themselves are a tax exempt organization as well.  As far as the cross at Ground Zero goes, The World Trade Center was a privately owned company.  The cross was found in the rubble, two iron beams welded together by chance that became a symbol of hope to the workers at Ground Zero.   If atheists are truly offended by a cross at a private memorial site I suggest they not go there.

photo MilitantAtheists2_zpsed11d9fd.jpgAnd maybe they should consider using the money they are wasting on that lawsuit to help the victims of terrorism in this country.

“I do think there is a role for me that maybe I inherited from Madalyn, [Murray O'Hair] It is to not be politically correct. If I don’t challenge the efficacy or the legitimacy of religion, nobody else will, and somebody has to challenge that.”

I disagree with that statement because we are not a theocracy.  You are not forced to attend church in our country, If you don't believe in God you are not put in prison and tortured. You are not forced to pray, you are not forced to listen to sermons, you are not forced to celebrate religious holidays. What is there to challenge?

On the other hand, you have no right to prevent me and other people of faith from practicing our religion.  The Constitution promises us "freedom OF religion" not "freedom FROM religion"  Obviously, there are a large number of militant atheists out there that are ignorant when it comes to American history.

The American Atheist Organization is a corrupt and blatantly hypocritical organization.  They seek attention like a spoiled child.  Do yourself a favor and just ignore them.

IS OBAMA LYING ABOUT USING THE IRS AGAINST HIS ENEMIES?? YEP!!

 photo ObamaSinister_zps51fdd1ba.jpg
HOPE! (subject to change)
Methinks Obama is making some of his biggest disingenuous statements to date when it comes to this whole IRS scandal. Let's face the facts here folks, the President is a pathological liar.  It's his most endearing trait, right up there with his thin skinned pettiness and mind blowing arrogance.

His assertion that he didn't find out about the IRS scandal until the media broke the story on May 10 is a whopper even by his standards!

He first publicly spoke about it in a joint press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron, claiming that he first found about it after reading "the same news reports that I think most people did".

Are we to believe that the IRS decides to hold a press conference and admit it was using its immense power to intimidate and seek revenge against the Obama administrations enemies and no one mentioned that to him?  No one told their boss, The President of the United States, that the shit was about to hit the industrial strength turbine fan??  Seriously??

If that is true, then who the hell is running that Carnival Cruise sideshow over there?  Bo the White House dog?

He vowed to find out "exactly what happened" at the IRS during the period under scrutiny and vowed that any wrongdoers would be held "fully accountable if found to be operating in anthing less than a neutral and non-partisan way."

If partner, IF?

(Associated Press) The Internal Revenue Service has admitted that it was involved in the “inappropriate” targeting of conservative political groups during the 2012 election cycle, under the guise of investigating the possible violation of tax exempt status. Lois Lerner, head of the IRS division overseeing tax-exempt groups, offered an apology of sorts after admitting that the tax bureaucracy had singled out dozens of organizations for additional reviews because they included words like “tea party” or “patriot” in their exemption applications. In some cases the IRS even demanded other information, such as lists of their donors, an action that violates IRS investigative policy.

photo BotheWhitehouseDog_zpsbd07f07c.jpgThere is a scandal because the IRS admitted they *WERE* (are) operating "in anything less than a neutral and non-partisan way."  Apparently Bo the White House Dog didn't brief Obama before he went before the world and made a total ass out of himself.....again.  Or maybe Bo the White House Dog tried to brief him but couldn't because Obama was on vacation again trying to relax and recover from the stress of being a pathological liar, or maybe he's just not that keen.

So either Obama is not doing his job or he is lying (again).  My money says he's lying about it, and he's using some piss poor CaseyAnthony type lies at that!

At the May 5, 2013 Ohio State commencement ceremony Obama made the following remarks in his speech:

“Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems, they’ll warn that tyranny is always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices.”

In light of the Benghazi cover up, the IRS scandal, secretly wiretapping and snooping into the phone records to spy on the Associated Press, breaking into the e-mail accounts and tracking the movements of 2 reporters and 1 producer at Fox News after accusing them of aiding and abetting and being co-conspirators for reporting on an espionage case involving North Korea at the State Department, I think it would be prudent for all students to not only embrace those voices but to make them their own.
